Did you know?

Energy efficiency in lighting is the ability to use less energy to produce the same amount of light output. Energy efficient lighting upgrades can significantly reduce a facility’s energy consumption and costs.

Using less energy reduces emissions of carbon dioxide, air-borne mercury, and other harmful pollutants from power plants that burn fewer fossil fuels to meet the lower energy demand. Lamps and ballasts with longer life will require fewer replacements, which can offer tremendous benefits in the area of maintenance.

Projects routinely pay themselves back within 2-3 years.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT) offers consumers and businesses a number of federal tax credits. More information can be found on the U.S. Dept. of Energy website.
